Merchant flow

From Square authorization to a reconciled sale.

1

Authorize Square

The seller signs in to Square and grants Ardenti Pay only the permissions needed for payments, locations, orders, and refunds.

2

Choose a location

The companion app binds the payment session to the seller’s Square location before an amount can be collected.

3

Accept contactless

The customer taps an eligible contactless card or digital wallet on the seller’s iPhone and Square processes the payment.

4

Sync the result

Ardenti Pay records the Square payment, order, receipt and refund references in the unified ledger.

Activation checklist

What must be in place before the first tap.

Tap to Pay is a native iPhone capability. A browser page cannot switch on the NFC payment interface or replace provider onboarding.

Location-aware

Every session is tied to the correct Square seller and location before collection.

Card data stays out

Ardenti Pay receives provider references and permitted card descriptors—not a full card number or security code.

Receipts and refunds

The seller remains responsible for accurate amounts, taxes, customer receipts, return policy, refunds, and required disclosures.
